Although many destination weddings are large, most are quite small. And because they are small it makes it easier to give special teatment to all the guests, not just those in your wedding party. One of the ways many brides in grooms do this is through the welcome bag. One of the biggest questions I get it, "what goes in the oot bag?".
One thing you don't hear about too often is personalized shirts (or some attire) for all the guests, not just your wedding party. What a way to make a statement when all your guests are wearing the same shirts around the hotel. You can customize each differently based on what you know about the person or have all the shirts the same with your "wedding logo" on them. If your wedding party is small enough to do this, then you should be able to get everyone's size ahead of time. Just keep it a secret what you are doing with the information.

Chinese Paper Lanterns are one of the most beautiful, romantic and popular wedding decorations right now. If you are anything like me you might be a little disappointed to think that a beach wedding might keep you from using these as a feature of your wedding. Not to worry, you might not be able to have them at your ceremony, but given any type of tree, pole or minimal roof, you can have them at your reception. When you buy them, they are flat which makes them easy to transport to your wedding destination. You just have to open and hang them. Even using just a few (you don't want to fill your entire suitcase with them) you can add a spectacular romantic touch.

Well, it's about time - I've been running this site for 6 years and am finally moving into the 2000's with a blog. Many exciting things are to come at Beach Wedding Planning. We have just upgraded the software on the site and hope to be able to bring you many more features in addition to lots of new content, newsletters and special offers. We are upgrading our vendor database and soon you should be able to search and find vendors in just about any location you'd like to have your beach wedding.
It's been 8 years since I was married on the beach and I think about it almost every day. Not because I run a site about beach weddings, but because it was a magical experience. If you decide to have a beach wedding, I know it will be a magical experience for you too! Happy Wedding Planning!
